General travel conditions!


1. Make a reservation

You can book a trip via our e-mail address or via the website. It is also possible to contact us by telephone. You can find the telephone numbers on our website. In consultation with you, we draw up a travel program based on your wishes and the arrival and departure dates specified by you.


2. Change of travel program

After the travel agreement has been concluded and the travel program has to be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances, we will come to a new travel program in consultation with you.


3. Payment

Guarantee scheme STO Garant

AlgarveTotaal uses STO Garant to comply with the legally required warranty. You can check this via the STO Garant participants page ( ). All information about STO Garant can be found at .

The guarantee of STO Garant applies to every package trip (not with individual flight tickets, individual car rental and individual tours without accommodation) from AlgarveTotaal. In the warranty scheme you can read what the warranty entails and which conditions apply. You can find this guarantee scheme on the STO Garant website ( ).

If the guarantee of STO Garant applies to your booking, you do not pay the travel sum to AlgarveTotaal, but to the third-party account of Stichting Derdengelden Certo Escrow, a payment service provider registered with De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). . This third-party funds foundation guarantees your travel sum until the end of your booking. If services are not provided (fully and / or on time) due to financial inability of AlgarveTotaal, STO Garant will perform the guarantee. 4. Documents and vaccinations

You are responsible for being in possession of the necessary travel documents, such as a valid passport. You are responsible for checking and arranging any vaccinations for the chosen travel destination. of the above-mentioned matters, the resulting consequences are entirely at your own risk and expense.


5. Cancellation

We apply the following cancellation conditions: If you have cancellation insurance and have a valid reason to cancel the trip, you will be refunded the costs incurred from your insurance.

In case of cancellation, each traveler owes the following amounts to AlgarveTotaal:

  • Up to 42 days before departure: 25% of the travel sum (the down payment)

  • From 42 to 28 days before departure: 60% of the travel sum;

  • In case of cancellation from the 28th day (inclusive) to the 10th day before departure: 80% of the travel sum;

  • In case of cancellation from the 10th day (inclusive) until the day of departure or later: the full travel sum.

  • Flight cancellation: Separate provisions apply to canceling flight tickets. Ask for this.

You must notify us of the cancellation by email as soon as possible. The cancellation date is the day on which you sent the email to AlgarveTotaal.


6. Complaints and compliments

It goes without saying that we try to prepare and execute your trip as well as possible. Despite that, it may be that you are not satisfied with something. Tell us immediately and we can come to a solution together.
